FRIENDS of Airedale hope to hit a high note with their latest fundraising venture.

The group is staging an evening of classic rock and pop music, with all proceeds going to the hospital.

Rock Choir Keighley and Rhythm Junkies are joining forces for the event, at Glusburn Community and Arts Centre on Saturday, September 9.

Organiser Sue Ingham says: "It promises to be a really fun night.

"Keighley Rock Choir is very well-established and we can expect a diverse foray into an illustrious back catalogue from the Rhythm Junkies.

"This is the first time an event like this has been held in aid of Friends of Airedale."

Tickets are £12. Visit ticketsource.co.uk/glusburncommunityartscentre/t-avypjjm.

Doors and the bar open at 6.45pm and the event starts at 7.30pm.
