A DISTRICT care trust is staging its first in-person annual members' meeting since before the pandemic.

Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is inviting people from across the area to attend the event, which takes place at Kala Sangam, in the city centre, on Thursday, September 21, between 11.45am and 4pm.

Prior to the formal meeting, which starts at 2pm, people will have the chance to visit stalls and chat to care trust staff, who will be showcasing some of the work they have been involved in during the past year.

The event will also include a celebration of staff achievements and the launch of a revamped trust strategy, Better Lives, Together.

Phillipa Hubbard, the trust's interim chief executive, says: "We are delighted to be inviting local people back to an in-person annual members’ meeting, after two years.

"We’re excited to be able to share the fantastic work that’s been going on across our services this year, alongside our new refreshed trust strategy. It’s an important opportunity for us to hear the views of our communities too."

Anyone wishing to attend, or who can't attend but would like to submit a question to the board, is asked to email ft@bdct.nhs.uk.
