AN event is being held to showcase a town's community groups.
Organisations in Silsden will outline their work and aims, and welcome new recruits.
Around 20 different groups will be represented at the event, being staged across several venues on Saturday, October 7.
The town hall and the parish, catholic and methodist churches will open their doors between 10am and 1pm for Silsden Showcase.
Silsden Gala team member and former chair, Duncan Turner, says: "This is a great opportunity for newcomers to the town to learn what the community is about, and to join in and bring new ideas."
Members of various groups have been leafleting new homes in Silsden to promote the event.
