A MENTAL health fair has been staged at a district school.
The well-attended event was held in the hall at Oxenhope Church of England Primary.
Mental health professionals were present to offer information and advice to families and the whole school community.
Headteacher, Mrs Alice Jones, says: "At Oxenhope we are very passionate about supporting the community’s mental health.
"Mental health services in the locality are stretched to breaking point, waiting lists are years' long and families are often reaching crisis point – it is our role to try to support the community that we serve.
"We had professionals join us to try to offer a support network for people who might need it, giving them an early opportunity to get help quickly.
"The event was well attended and featured a children’s yoga session, information from counsellors, a warm relaxing space to talk and details of school mental health services."
