A BOWLING club is celebrating its 90th anniversary.
And a social evening is planned to mark the milestone.
The Cross Roads Bowling Club celebratory event takes place at the Snooty Fox pub, in Colne Road, Oakworth, on Saturday, October 21, from 7.30pm.
It will feature a race night, which is being hosted by Fred Rothwell, the secretary of Hebden Royd Bowling League.
Anyone connected with Cross Roads Bowling Club, currently or in the past, plus potential future members are invited to attend.
Richard Hargreaves, for the club, says: "We are absolutely delighted to be celebrating our 90th anniversary.
"All are welcome – members past, present and future – plus friends and associates of the club.
"People are invited to simply turn up on the evening."
