A FREE workshop is being staged at Keighley Library on Saturday, October 28, as part of an annual festival.

Dancing with Words – with Jyoti Manral, of South Asian Arts – takes place from noon to 2pm.

A spokesperson says: "This is a chance to explore the wondrous world of words and dance – meet people, learn something new and tap those toes! The workshop is suitable for families and individuals alike."

Places can be booked at intercultured.co.uk/events/dancing-with-words-workshop.

The event is part of the Intercultured Festival, a ten-day programme of activities across the Bradford district.

A series of workshops, musical performances and other attractions is on offer.

The festival runs until October 28.

Director, Mussarat Rahman, says: "Intercultured is a modern-day representation of Bradford district, bringing together cultures and communities.

"Where we are in today's fragile socio economic times, we aim to be inclusive, ensuring there's space for all to be heard and seen.

"The festival – made possible thanks to funding from the National Lottery, through Arts Council England – has been co-created with artists, communities and organisations to celebrate Bradford as a creative home for all and amplify culture across Bradford and Keighley."
