AROUND 100 people attended a 'Pumpkinfest' organised by Keighley Town Council.

The event was scheduled to take place on the St John’s playing field at Utley.

But due to adverse weather and ground conditions, it was moved inside to the Downstairs Project at Keighley Civic Centre.

Attractions included free pumpkin carving, photographic portrait printouts, colouring and face painting.

Pumpkins were donated by Keighley Asda community champion Suzie Ramsbottom, who also attended on the day.

Councillor Clare Abberton says: "It’s a shame the weather meant the Pumpkinfest had to be brought indoors, however I’m incredibly pleased that so many people attended. Events like this bring people together and provide fun and free activities for the community."

The town council thanks all those who attended and volunteered.
