A KEIGHLEY law firm has expanded its litigation team.

AWB Charlesworth has welcomed Cyrielle Lacaille, who brings extensive experience of the utility sector and electronic communications code.

And Elleanor Saunders has joined the company as a paralegal. Whilst studying law at Leeds University, she worked for AWB Charlesworth during her holidays. She graduated with a first.

Chris Cooper, who specialises in property litigation, was promoted to director earlier this year. He joined the firm in 2010, since when he has built a list of clients including landlords, tenants, developers, farmers and landowners.

The litigation department is headed up by partner and director David Tear, who has nearly 25 years' experience in the commercial sector.

He says: "I am incredibly proud of our litigation team, and the addition of both Cyrielle and Elleanor will enable us to expand and offer even more excellent advice to existing clients – and to new ones.

"And with the promotion of Chris to director, we have ambitious plans for further growth in the coming years."
