POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision in Keighley.

The 83-year-old woman was crossing the road at the junction of Park Lane and Long Lee Lane at about 11.14am yesterday (October 31) when she was in collision with a white Rover 418 car. The vehicle was travelling up Park Lane.

The woman was taken to hospital.

Police have spoken to the driver of the car.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or the movements of the pedestrian or vehicle prior to it, is asked to contact the roads policing unit on 101, or by using the 101 livechat on the West Yorkshire Police website.

Anybody with dashcam footage that may help is also asked to come forward.
