SOME trains on the Airedale line through Keighley will operate with fewer carriages from next month.
The change is amongst those announced by Northern as part of its winter timetable, which comes into effect on Sunday, December 10.
Some services between Bradford and Skipton, Ilkley and Leeds will run with three carriages instead of four.
And there will also be reduced capacity on the Leeds to Carlisle service, through Keighley.
Northern says the reduction is to reflect lower demand during the winter months.
Kerry Peters, for the company, says: "The overwhelming majority of our services will remain 'as is', but customers should double check any regular journeys they make – especially those with short connections."
