POLICE are seeking a white Ford Transit van – described as 'old style' – following three separate incidents.
In one of the incidents, at Main Street, Farnhill, the vehicle's occupants were involved in an altercation which resulted in damage being caused to a door and wing mirror of a delivery van.
The incident occurred between 10.35am and 10.55am on Tuesday (December 12).
North Yorkshire Police say the Ford Transit is also being sought in relation to two incidents which happened earlier that morning in Skipton.
In one, suspects attempted to steal property from outside an address in Newmarket Street and threatened a member of the public.
And shortly afterwards, copper piping was taken from a business premises on the Snaygill Industrial Estate.
"We are urging any witnesses or anybody with CCTV or dashcam footage of the suspects or van to get in touch," says a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson.
