A FASHION show staged by Weigh Better Together coined in just over £1,000 for Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands.

And amongst the volunteer models was 88-year-old Pauline Clayton, who joined the weight loss group's Bingley class in February.

She set out ten months ago to shed a stone in weight and improve her health, as she'd been struggling to walk.

But now she is three stones lighter, and her mobility has been transformed.

Denise Walker, for Weigh Better Together, says: "Pauline did an amazing job at the show – she looked so lovely, and we were all thrilled for her.

"I'd like to extend a huge 'thank you' to Pauline, all our other wonderful models and our members and friends for their attendance on the day.

"Thank you also for raffle donations, and for buying teas and coffees in our classes, and to Bradford and Bingley Rugby Union Club – where we meet up every Thursday morning – for a brilliant venue!

"We were able to raise £1,007 for Manorlands. It's a pleasure to support our members and also to be able to support such a great cause close to our hearts."
