A CLUB is bowled over with its latest charity fundraising success.
Haworth Bowling Club raised £120 last month, for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands.
A cheque has now been handed over to Sue Ryder community fundraising manager, Andrew Wood.
The club staged a Santa's grotto at its clubhouse in Haworth's Central Park, which also featured a 'name the panda' competition.
Santa and his elves from the club were then hosted by Oakworth Primary School. Pupils could meet Santa in return for a donation, which further boosted the funds.
Club secretary Christine Harker says: "We are delighted to have raised money for the hospice, and hope to make these events annual.
"We are always looking for new members to come and join the fun at the bowling club."
Mr Wood thanked members for their support.
