A SILSDEN bar is toasting a coveted accolade.
The Counting House has received the Keighley & Craven Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) winter Pub of the Season Award.
Previously part of a bank, the Kirkgate premises opened as a bar in 2016.
It is run by Jane Joy and Melissa Smith.
Keighley & Craven CAMRA branch secretary, Fred Baker, says: "Beer quality is always good and there is a welcoming feel to the pub, which has one L-shaped room with plenty of space to sit or stand.
"In good weather, a beer garden at the back is very pleasant and secluded – and can be a sun trap!
"The pub is dog and family friendly and hosts events including a monthly music quiz, live music and open mic nights and a book club. There is a strong community focus."
Pub of the Season awards are decided on through members' votes.
