A MOTORIST who drove at almost twice the speed limit on a Keighley main road has been banned from driving and ordered to pay over £800 by magistrates.
Matthew Jordan Crooks was caught driving at 59mph in a 30mph zone on the A629 Halifax Road.
He pleaded guilty to the offence, which occurred on June 23 last year.
Crooks, 33, of Leeds Road, Shipley, was banned from driving for 14 days, fined £500 and ordered to pay a £200 victim surcharge and £110 costs by Bradford & Keighley Magistrates Court.
