A NEW service to help people through the cost-of-living crisis is now available in Keighley.
Yorkshire Building Society has teamed up with Citizens Advice to offer free confidential support with a range of issues, including accessing welfare benefits and debt advice.
Advisors from the charity can be seen by appointment at the building society's Low Street branch on Mondays.
The service is open to anyone, not just customers of Yorkshire Building Society.
Each appointment lasts for up to an hour.
Alison Alexis, for Yorkshire Building Society, says: "We recognise that many people are in need of impartial help and advice around a wide range of challenges, perhaps now more than ever, so we’re really pleased to host Citizens Advice advisors."
A similar partnership is operating from over 40 other branches nationally.
Richard Wilkinson, of Citizens Advice Bradford and Airedale, says: "We're thrilled at our partnership with Yorkshire Building Society.
"It’s been a tough winter for many, and things don’t show any signs of slowing down. We continue to see record levels of demand for help at Citizens Advice.
"This partnership will help us to reach even more people who need support during these challenging times."
