A HAWORTH bookshop is supporting World Book Day.
Wave of Nostalgia is working with schools as part of the initiative.
On World Book Day itself, Thursday, March 7, shop owner Diane Park will read to pupils at the village primary school.
And on Saturday, March 9, writer and illustrator Jen Carney will be at Wave of Nostalgia, in Main Street.
She will be reading from – and signing copies of – her latest children's book, The Day My Dog Got Famous, distributing bookmarks and answering questions.
The free event will run from 1pm-2.30pm.
Ahead of the activities, anyone with a World Book Day voucher can take it along to the shop to swap for one of this year's books – or receive £1 off any children’s book, whilst stocks last.
Diane says: "We are supporting World Book Day's mission to encourage all children to discover a love of reading."
