A KEIGHLEY brewery's community involvement can't be questioned.

Timothy Taylor's is sponsoring the Airedale Quiz League, which counts amongst its members stars of TV shows Eggheads and Mastermind.

The brewery came on board after learning that many of the league's matches are held in pubs, including Taylor's premises.

"As part of our commitment to the local community we are very proud to be the new partner sponsor of the Airedale Quiz League," says Scott Cameron, senior brand manager at Timothy Taylor’s.

Andrew Copping, who chairs the league, said it was "wonderful" having the brewery as a backer.

He added: "If anyone fancies joining the league, as a team or individually, please don’t be intimidated by our elite bunch of quizzers! The league is for quizzers of all standards, young and old. It's a great way to make new friends and enjoy a few pints together."
