A LEES meeting will learn more about life in war-torn Ukraine.
Members of Keighley's Ukrainian community, who have supported people fleeing from their homeland and settling in this country, are attending the Lees Methodist Church Meeting Point.
Maurice Baren, for the church, says: "They will update us on the situation in their own country and what it has been like for those who have moved here – coping with a different language, traditions and ways of life. It will no doubt be an eye opener, hearing first-hand what it is like to live in a war-torn country."
The meeting is at Lees Methodist Church on Wednesday, April 17.
Tea and biscuits will be served from 1.45pm, and the meeting starts at 2pm.
Everyone is welcome.
