A SPACE designed for young people to socialise has been created at a Keighley community centre.
And the facility – at the Sue Belcher Centre, Bracken Bank – will be officially unveiled during a fun day on Saturday, April 13, between noon-2.30pm.
David Weston, centre chair, says: "The community has come together to create the space.
"Keighley Lions provided time and wood, and attendees of One in a Million youth sessions worked with Keighley Creative to design a mural. We're excited to share it with locals."
The centre – in Bracken Bank Avenue – has worked with locally-based organisation Word on the Street to create a timetable of entertainment for the fun day, including dance and theatre groups.
There will also be refreshments and stalls.
