AN award-winning campaigner is to launch her debut novel at Haworth.
Ellie Keel will be at Wave of Nostalgia independent bookshop, in Main Street, on Wednesday, April 17, at 7pm.
She will talk about and read from her thriller, The Four, and sign copies.
The story follows four scholarship students as their dreams come true when they are accepted into an exclusive boarding school, but they are soon bound by a dark secret.
Wave of Nostalgia owner, Diane Park, says: "As founder director of The Women’s Prize for Playwriting and a campaigner for gender equality amongst writers for the stage, Ellie is an inspirational woman in her own right.
"The Four is a horrifically thrilling, emotionally gripping story of adolescent fear, pride and loyalty; a total page-turner full of love and wrongness. I loved it and I’m sure our customers will too."
People can attend the launch in person, or via Zoom.
Tickets are £5 – call at Wave of Nostalgia or visit waveofnostalgia.co.uk/event-tickets
