ORGANISERS of a Ramadan Iftar party in a Keighley park have described the event as "a great success".
The gathering was spearheaded by Lund Park Community Group following the success of a similar initiative last year.
Group chair, Abdul Shohid, says: "It was our second such event and the party was a great success – we had good weather, and lots of families turned up.
"It really brought the community together and promoted cohesion.
"I would like to thank everyone who helped make the event a success – including Modality and Keighley Town Council which collaborated with us to stage the party, and our wonderful group volunteers.
"It was a great team effort."
