A NEW cafe in Haworth has been praised as "another fantastic addition" to the village's offering.
Keighley MP Robbie Moore paid tribute after attending a preview evening at Haworth Old Post Office.
The historic premises have been transformed, supported by an £8,900 grant from the Government-financed Keighley Towns Fund.
Mr Moore says: "It was a privilege to be invited along to the preview evening, where I saw first-hand how the building has been lovingly and carefully converted into a beautiful eaterie.
"The scheme benefited from Government funding, which helped with the detailed renovation and project works. I have no doubt the venue will go from strength to strength as another fantastic addition to Haworth's offering."
In the 19th century, when it was a post office, the building was used by the Bronte sisters to post their manuscripts to London.
The literary siblings lived in the nearby parsonage, now a museum which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from across the world keen to see the family's former home and surroundings.
