The front of a bus was completely shattered after a crash with a car.
Wembley Hill Road was blocked both ways yesterday (April 23) after the crash understood to be from 9.50pm.
Images show that a 79 bus and an Audi were involved in a crash – with the windshield of the bus shattered.
The road was closed from East Lane to Wembley Park Drive, and due to the closures there were bus routes diverted including the 79, 204 and 483.
It is believed that the road interruptions lasted until at least midnight.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "The bus driver was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening."
