AN annual Festival of Life in Keighley has been hailed by organisers as a huge success.
Nearly 1,000 burgers and hot dogs – plus cups of tea and coffee – were handed out during the event, on Church Green.
There was also a bouncy castle and face painting.
The free extravaganza, first held nearly two decades ago, is staged by Keighley Churches Together.
A spokesperson says: "The festival is intended as a parable.
"Everything at the event is free, with no hidden agenda, to reflect the free love of God available to everyone.
"Volunteers from Keighley Churches Together shared the message of hope that is found in Jesus and which is shared week by week for the rest of the year in the town's churches."
