A man was punched in the face while travelling on a train between Shipley and Keighley.
British Transport Police are appealing for information following the assault on Wednesday, October 28.
The 22-year-old man, from Keighley, was hit in the face after an altercation with another man while travelling on a Northern Rail service at around 8.30pm.
The victim suffered a split lip, facial bruising and swelling.
British Transport Police officer Tony Greenwood asked for anyone who witnessed the assault to contact police.
He said: “A 42-year-old local man has been arrested and released on police bail in connection with the incident.”
