Handicraft exhibits created by pupils at Oldfield Primary School went on display.
The school staged its second annual show and parents were invited along to see the youngsters’ work.
Categories included handwriting, photography, decorated buns, edible jewellery, an autumn collage and miniature gardens. And parents and staff made chocolate cakes.
All 42 pupils were involved in the event.
The entries were scrutinised by independent judges and winners received £5 vouchers.
A school spokesman said: “The show was a great success.
“There were a lot of exhibits, some of which had been created at home and others in school.”
The event also provided an opportunity for parents of prospective students to look around the school and refreshments were served.
