Keighley district schools have signed up for Manorlands’ second business enterprise challenge.
Fundraising initiative Mind Your Own Business has been revived following its successful introduction last year. Students vie to become the district’s best young entrepreneurs by devising new ways to raise money for the Oxenhope hospice.
They also learn about the work of Sue Ryder Care, both in the local community and at the hospice. They have a chance of winning awards for Best Business and Best School.
Taking part this year are Haworth, Steeton and East Morton primary, Eastburn junior and infant and Oakbank secondary schools.
They are among 18 schools in the Bradford district taking part in the Sue Ryder Care School Challenge.
They will each be given a start-up investment by the charity.
