Sutton Community Primary School is celebrating after receiving an Investors in Pupils Award.
For the past 12 months the whole school community has worked together to achieve the award and it is one of only a handful of schools in North Yorkshire to get the designation.
Investors in Pupils enables youngsters to find out and understand more about their school and the roles and responsibilities of everyone involved in their education.
They also gain an understanding of the school budget and how it is used to support their learning. The award affirms the school’s most recent Ofsted report which said it provided outstanding care, guidance and support for its pupils.
