Aysha Jamil — a year five pupil at Keighley St Andrew’s CE Primary School — was a runner-up in a contest to design a Christmas card.
The ten-year-old attended a ceremony at Future House, in Bradford, to receive a certificate from the Lord Mayor, Councillor Naveeda Ikram.
And all the winners were invited to visit Clinton Cards to see how greetings cards are made.
The competition, to create a card on the theme of “winter light”, was open to schoolchildren across the Bradford district.
