Sainsbury’s petrol station in Keighley has been closed while work is carried out on repairing a broken gas main.
Northern Gas Networks said engineers had been at the scene through the night working on the pipeline.
The company said the petrol station, at the junction of Cavendish Street and East Parade, had been shut as a safety precaution.
A Northern Gas Networks spokesman said: “We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this vital emergency work may cause. We are aware that this is a very busy location and we will do all we can to minimise disruption while we complete the work.”
