Firefighters are tackling a blaze at a Keighley fish and chip restaurant.
Flames and smoke were billowing from the first floor of Wilsons Fish Restaurant, in Lawkholme Lane.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus are battling the blaze and trying to stop it spreading to the adjoining Volunteers Arms pub.
Five fire engines - two from Keighley and one each from Bingley, Shipley and Silsden - plus a special aerial appliance are currently at the scene.
A section of Lawkholme Lane between its junctions with Alice Street and Cavendish Street has been closed and traffic diverted.
The fire service was alerted at about 4.40pm to the blaze, which started in a cooking range.
Among the several onlookers were staff from the restaurant, who didn’t want to comment.
