An evening of science experiments at Oakworth Primary School – billed as being hosted by “Frankenstein’s sisters” – was a monster success.
Parental involvement worker Helen Scargill and reception class teacher Anne Hargreaves led a series of experiments, for pupils and their parents, in the school hall.
The event was such a success, more are planned.
“The evenings of ‘hands-on fun’ will hopefully develop a lifelong love of science investigation,” said Mrs Hargreaves.
