Ordinations for the diocese of Bradford this weekend will include new deacons for Keighley and the Worth Valley.
John Ineson will serve in the parish of St Mark’s, Utley, after training for ordination on the Yorkshire Ministry Course at the Mirfield Centre.
He has worked for a number of global engineering consultants, leading their business development and marketing functions, and will continue this role after ordination. He is married and has three grown children.
Julie Roberts will serve in the parishes of Haworth, Oxenhope and Cross Roads after training for ordination on the Yorkshire Ministry Course. She is in her third year of a degree in Theology and Ministry.
She works as a national sales and marketing manager for an international chemical company. She is married and has two daughters and two granddaughters.
The deacon ordinations will be conducted on Sunday in Bradford Cathedral by the Bishop of Bradford, the Right Rev Nick Baines.
On Saturday he will ordain nine priests, including David Austin, of St James’ Silsden, and Bryony Partridge, of Christ Church Oakworth with St John’s Newsholme.
