A man was allegedly assaulted and robbed of his mobile phone following a confrontation with two youths in Keighley this morning.
Police were called to Mornington Street, close to the town centre, at 11.30am.
A spokesman for Airedale and North Bradford Police said: “Inquiries are at an early stage but it is currently believed a 21-year-old man was assaulted after a confrontation with two youths in the area and suffered facial injuries.
“Following the assault it is believed one of the two took the man's mobile phone which had fallen out of his pocket.”
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact the police on 101.
