An application to sell alcohol in the new Keighley Civic Centre has been withdrawn pending amendments and a planned resubmission.
The submission from Keighley Town Council was due to be considered by a meeting of the Bradford, Keighley and Shipley Licensing Panel last Thursday.
But a spokesman for Bradford Council confirmed that the application for a premises licence had been withdrawn.
Keighley Town Council special projects co-ordinator Alan Parry said the proposals had required some late amendments. He said once the necessary changes had been agreed with the police a new licensing application would be submitted.
The original proposals noted that the civic centre building already complied with local authority guidance relating to emergency access, lighting and other forms of safety provision.
