Keighley Guides had their camping and cooking skills put to the test.
Teams from across the division took part in competitions at Wynches Campsite, Burley Woodhead.
The girls had to pitch shelters and build fires before cooking pasta with bolognese sauce followed by pears and mint chocolate.
Top cooks were 1st Haworth, with 73 points, followed by 7th Keighley on 72 points and 2nd Oakworth with 71.
Division commissioner Kay Bolton said: “Although they knew what equipment was needed, they had no idea what was in store to cook. All the teams were given the same instructions and ingredients to make a two-course meal on open fires.
“Luckily the weather was good to them and they were all very successful.”
A trophy and “Cloughie” Beaver Award for camping skills and teamwork were won by 7th Keighley.
Kay said: “These trophies have great significance in Keighley – they contain the actual Beaver Award which was presented to Miss Clough who owned Steeton Hall. For many it brings back fantastic memories of camping as Guides in the grounds of Steeton Hall long before we had our present campsite.”
