All that was mad and groovy helped bring Haworth Festival to an end last weekend.
And delighted organisers say that the revitalised annual event will definitely be held in the village again next year.
Nine days of arts activities finished on Saturday with several events aimed at various ages.
Children dressed up as fictional characters for a picnic and storytelling during a Mad Hatter's Tea Party in Haworth's Central Park.
Then it was on to Parkside Social Club for a longer version of Haworth's monthly music night the Groovy Happening.
John Sargent, one of several local people who came forward last autumn to develop this year's event, said the organisers were very happy.
He said: "It was a great community effort that was rewarded with a successful and diverse range of events.
"You bet we'll do it again next year - only bigger and better. We already know that following this year's successes more people want to get involved next year."
Among activities through the week were Haworth Acting Academy's stage production Surviving Shakespeare, an art trail, film night and open-mic music event.
