Keighley teenagers are being offered the chance to change their own lives while improving their communities.
They could take part in the Summer of a Lifetime project run by national volunteering and learning charity CSV.
People can experience new activities such as rock climbing, archery and raft building during two four-night residential trips.
They will work in teams to design community projects, then spend 30 hours each carrying them out throughout this month.
Summer of a Lifetime is free to 16 and 17-year-olds, and young people aged 18 to 25 who have a learning disability.
Inspirational athletes from the Dame Kelly Holmes’ Legacy Trust will mentor young people throughout the programme, which will end with a graduation ceremony.
Louise Allen, who is running the project, said: “This is an amazing experience and people who take part will gain so many skills and unforgettable experiences and will make life-long friends. This really is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!”
Young people can sign up by calling Louise on (01274) 737266 or 07896 004381, or e-mailing lallen@csv.org.uk.
