Police are trying to track down a man who may have witnessed an assault on a 14-year-old girl in Harden.
The incident took place on July 14 at about 11am in or around the Harden cricket ground at St Ives.
Police say the girl was walking with a 17-year-old boy and a girl aged 10.
The 14-year-old was allegedly pinned on the ground by the boy following an argument.
It is believed a man walking his dog nearby witnessed the incident and threatened to call the police before leaving in a car.
After he left, the girl was allegedly assaulted again and received a head injury before leaving the area to contact authorities.
A 17-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the alleged incident and bailed pending further inquiries.
Airedale and North Bradford Police would like to hear from the dog walker or anyone else who witnessed the incident. They should contact PC 4466 Jayne Harrison at the Airedale and North Bradford Suspect Management Unit on 01535 615746.
