SANTA Claus could be seen during a fun day at Boots Opticians in Keighley.
The man himself went along to the branch in the Airedale Shopping Centre to help raise money for blind and partially sighted people.
Staff raised money through activities such as a guess the weight of the Christmas cake competition, and a raffle to win a festive hamper.
There was also face painting, a tombola, a cake sale, and other family activities.
Assistant store manager Lisa Smith said last month’s event raised £229 for local charity Sight Airedale.
Sight Airedale, formerly Keighley and District Association for the Blind, was established in 1907 and supports local people with sight impairments.
The charity is involved in social centres in Bingley, Keighley, Silsden and Skipton, offering people a chance to chat over a cup of tea, musical entertainment, guest speakers and outings.
It also sells products to help people make everyday life easier, provides advice on technology, and runs a Braille translation service.
