A CROSS HILLS company which produces innovative medical equipment is to attend the biggest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East.
Viamed will display a range of its groundbreaking products at the Arab Health Exhibition, in Dubai, from January 26-29.
The Station Road firm will be showcasing latest technology in the field of capnography, which involves the measuring of excreted carbon dioxide levels into the bloodstream.
Among devices being exhibited is VersaStream, which quickly removes condensation from sampling lines and speeds up the preparation time for patient monitoring.
New so-called SMARTsat technology, developed in close conjunction with research institutions and university hospitals to measure oxygen levels in blood, will also be on show.
And a selection of portable capnograph monitors will be demonstrated.
Ryan Swaine, Viamed's international sales manager, said: "We're looking forward to exhibiting our products to the Middle East market, particularly the recently launched VersaStream and SMARTSat technology which we think will be very well received.
“We are keen to enhance our relationship with distributors and clinicians in the Middle East region and Arab Health is the perfect opportunity for us to begin raising awareness of our innovative product portfolio."
Viamed, established in 1977, caters mainly for critical patient care in hospitals but its products are also used by emergency services, GPs and dental and veterinary surgeries.
