FUNDRAISING for Manorlands has taken on a new face.
Workers at a conveyor belt manufacturer grew beards to raise cash for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
Each participant at Habasit UK's Bingley production unit paid £10, and doubled the money to shave it off!
With additional donations from other staff and match funding from the company, whose headquarters are at Silsden, £530 was raised.
The venture was staged after a good friend of an employee was admitted to Manorlands.
Jodie Batters, a fundraising assistant at the hospice, collected the cheque.
She said: "It was lovely to meet enthusiastic members of the team and thank them.
"This is a fantastic achievement and what a great way to come together and raise funds."
