A KEIGHLEY business has seen a boost in trade at the start of the year.
TaxAssist Accountants recorded a 14 per cent year-on-year increase in customers seeking help filing their January tax returns.
The North Street firm has provided tax and accountancy services to small businesses for more than eight years.
Owner Dave Forrester said January also witnessed more people than ever before opting to file their returns online, rather than on paper.
"Small businesses face ever-increasing financial and administration challenges which add to a tough, competitive market place," he said.
"Our business grows through word of mouth recommendations and it's great to see such a significant increase in referrals."
