A Keighley company is celebrating 15 years of trading since an employee/ management buyout.
NSF Controls at Ingrow Bridge was rescued on July 4, 1997, following its exclusion from future business plans in the wake of a merger between then owners Lucas and Varity Corporation.
The company has achieved continuous year-on-year growth, boosting turnover from £1.1m to over £4m and increasing its workforce by half. It now has further plans for expansion.
Chief executive officer Doug Priestley said: “The company, in one form or another, has been on this site since 1948 and it is our intention for it to be here for many years to come.”
NSF specialises in the design and manufacture of solenoids, switches and sub-assemblies. The anniversary was marked with a gift presentation to staff and sponsorship of a bike ride for the Manorlands hospice.
