THE SALT Beer Factory in Saltaire hosts an evening of live music and projected 3D film on December 13. Bradford band Glass Mountain, Bradford singer Lelo and Leeds-based Talkboy will perform during an evening featuring images by multimedia visual artist Why Isaac?.
Why Isaac? was commissioned to create one-of-a-kind art that would reflect Saltaire in a new light, taking as its inspiration the historical area surrounding the venue.
Since their uncompromising seven-minute debut release Glacial, Bradford quartet Glass Mountain have built a reputation on beautifully-crafted, often sorrowful music. They draw on diverse influences such as The Cure, Sigur Ros, Low and The Beach Boys.
Talkboy’s musicians combine playful indie rock with captivating melodies and vocal harmonies, shifting between euphoric walls of noise and intimately sweet soundscapes. Lelo performs striking songs that juxtapose melancholic lyrics and themes with uplifting, melancholy, dreamy pop music.
