MANORLANDS is bowled over with its latest donation.
The Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice has received a £1,661 boost from the Craven Cricket League.
A raffle held at the league's annual dinner, at Rolls Royce in Barnoldswick, contributed towards the total.
A planned charity match was rained off, but clubs gave donations instead.
Manorlands community fundraiser, Molly Ralphson, thanked the 28-club league and sponsor Mewies Solicitors for their continued support.
She added: "The amount raised will make a real difference to our patients.
"With this donation, three more patients can each receive special care and a bed for a day in our inpatient unit, and there would still be enough to pay one of our amazing nurses for a day too!
"We couldn’t continue to provide this level of care for local people without support from community groups and businesses such as these."
