VOLUNTEERS are sprucing up the gardens at a Keighley community centre.
Local joiner Steve Blaythorne volunteered his time to repair and renew flower and vegetable beds at the Sangat Centre in Eastwood.
As a result, Keighley Healthy Living decided to fund Kickstart to Gardening sessions at the building.
A spokesman said: “The Sangat Centre has a great outdoor space and the garden is amazing, but it needs help from volunteers to maintain it.
“The gardening sessions aim to give volunteers the skills and training they need to maintain the beds and grow flowers and vegetables.”
Kickstart to Gardening sessions run on Mondays from 11am to 12:30pm.
Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer should call the Sangat Centre on 01535 691413 or simply show up at a session.
