A NIGHT of music and songs struck a chord with villagers.
The Young at Heart event, which showcased the talents of Lothersdale youngsters, has been hailed as a huge success.
A wide range of material was performed.
There was also a bar and raffle, with a host of prizes donated by businesses.
The extravaganza, at Lothersdale Village Hall, raised £720 for the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.
A spokesman for the event said: “It was extremely well attended.
“The evening allowed some very talented young singers and musicians from the village to have the opportunity to shine.
“They all gave outstanding performances, which delighted the audience.”
All those who took part – who ranged in age from 12 upwards – either live, or have lived, in Lothersdale.
