CHARITY the Friends of Airedale has received a £7,682 boost thanks to Co-op members.
The cause was among those supported through the food retailer’s Local Community Fund.
One per cent of Co-op members’ spending on selected branded products goes into the pot, for distribution to chosen causes.
The Friends of Airedale became one of the nominated beneficiaries last year.
Its chairman, John Lofthouse, paid tribute to Co-op customers for their support.
He added: “The total amount raised has been amazing and it is a wonderful help, enabling us to supply equipment and services that benefit patients and help enhance inpatient stays.
“We give a very heartfelt ‘thank you’.”
